Matt and Emma’s Highlights
Matt and Emma
Hampton Court House
24/09/2011
I got to Hampton Court House super early because I had heard a lot about it, seen it in the edit but never actually shot there myself. By weekday it is a private school right opposite the Palace of the same name, but at the weekend they provide it to discerning couples who want to get hitched there. Nobody panicked as a car-full of essential wedding guests hadn’t arrived before the Bride (except maybe the registrar’s, they always have somewhere else to be…) however, a little later than planned, all went ahead. The photographer on the day was Simon Fazackarley and having since seen his work, I am really impressed. A few of the portraits happened in a grotto in the schools grounds (interior COVERED in seashells, quite disturbing but good texture.) I have never seen such a smiley bride, Emma was grinning from ear to ear if not the whole day, then certainly after the bit where she became a Mrs…
I have been singing Holiday Road from the National Lampoons film ever since…

It had totally slipped my mind but I remembered this morning to check your blog and low and behold, here are our highlights. I was so over-excited I had to take myself off into dark room to calm down (no joke!) I’ve emailed it 30 friends and family already! It’s great to be able to send it to people who won’t ever get to see the full version so thank you for putting it on your blog.
We’re so chuffed to have such a brilliant video; it really is amazing, we love all of it but I have to say, its the dance floor highlights make me want to do it all again every time I see it, it’s definitely my favourite bit!!
Thanks Dan!
Thanks for your feedback Emma, so pleased you are thrilled. We love your film too!!
