At From The Hip our philosophy is to capture as many of the emotions, personalities and little details that go into making every couple’s individual day, in a totally unobtrusive way. Our style is very clean, contemporary filming with no soft focus nonsense or special effects that will date in the future. But it is vital that we capture this without making anyone feel uncomfortable – so the idea is that the couple and their guests barely know we are there. Think of us as ninjas with cameras. We would never be able capture all the natural intimate moments without this discreet approach.

Our super special equipment

Our impressive equipment consists of state of the art HD cameras, including the revolutionary Canon 5d MkII . We have a very large selection of professional lenses that allow us to capture luxurious footage that is truly cinematic in style and breathtaking to watch. Because of our unobtrusive approach, we do not bring along steadicam braces, camera sliders or any other camera moving equipment that would make us a spectacle at your wedding day. Just us, a camera or two and a tripod. We also use excellent microphones for the ceremony and speeches.
